We were in the NICU for over a month with our daughter. We spent a lot of time in the NICU, but with a young son at home, weren’t able to stay there 24 hours a day. The hardest part of the NICU stay for me, each day, was saying goodbye to and leaving my baby. I was worried that her small awake windows might occur when I wasn’t there and she’d just be left alone, lying in her crib.

Child Life Services brought in a Nurture Smart mobile for her and it made a huge difference! Whenever she was awake, she was absolutely mesmerized by it. She enjoyed the music and mirror during the day and the heartbeat sounds and star projection as part of her wind down routine for nighttime.

I’d come in in the mornings to find her happily watching her mobile, totally content. She could already track the black and white images. The speed was just right for her.

Remarkable!

My daughter was given the sensory ball as a gift. She has difficulty with motor planning and has limited use of her hands and arms, and has cortical visual impairment. This ball has provided an opportunity for her to be included in an age old past time with her siblings and peers. The sides of the balls have areas where she can grip the ball and gain control prior to handing it off or throwing it to someone else. We had never seen a ball like this before. The colors are bright, it makes a crinkling sound when manipulated, it is easy to grasp, light weight and well built. We couldn't be more pleased with this ball. This is a must have for all new babies. I bought it for my grandson to have at my house. We went to visit him and he enjoyed it so much, I left it at his house.

I can't rave enough about this product. My newborn was hospitalized for a week and luckily the hospital had this available for us to use. My son was so mesmerized watching it. It was the only thing that helped calm him and keep his attention away from his illness. I came home and immediately searched for this product. I love it and have recommended it to every expecting mother I know! The price is high but well worth it!

Introduced this to our newborn right away and he really took to it! He’s now 3 months old and it’s still a core part of our mat time. I love that you can secure the rings around the legs of an activity gym and alternate between the mirror and image sides. For me it’s easier to use and clean than high contrast cards I’ve seen elsewhere so I’m really happy to have this. The size also really works well because the images and mirror are still in his line of sight as he learns to lift his head up higher in tummy time.

Our baby loves this mobile! He stays entertained and babbles away at it- it’s so fun to watch. When shopping for mobiles, I read so many reviews of other products that fell apart in the crib, which is a total dealbreaker. I’m so grateful the Nurture Smart product was gifted to us. I feel so comfortable that this mobile is high quality and secure as well as developmentally appropriate- not just cute decor! This also fits well on our Snoo bassinet so I expect we’ll use for a long time!

It was the perfect gift for my neighbor's baby. He is fascinated by his reflection, and loves touching the tactile letters, numbers, and shapes. The quality of the mirror is top notch and I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
